Installation work includes five stages:
- Removing the old window;
- Preparing the window opening for installation;
- Preparing the window structure for installation;
- Fixing the window;
- Assembly seam construction.
- Dismantling of old structures is carried out within the time period agreed with the client.
- Preparing the window opening for installation. It consists of the need to remove fragile sections of the wall, remnants of insulation, make surfaces straight, etc. For better fixation of sealing materials, the prepared surface is treated with a special primer, if necessary, and also moistened for better adhesion of the polyurethane foam.
- Preparing the window structure for installation. Visually check the integrity of the product and the absence of defects. The choice of fasteners and their quantity depends on the overall dimensions of the structure, its configuration, wall material, operational loads, as well as design documentation.
- The prepared window block is installed in the window opening. The structure is leveled horizontally and vertically using special support logs or mounting wedges.
- The installation gap is filled with polyurethane foam. Perform internal vapor barrier and external waterproofing of the assembly joint. Since polyurethane foam is extremely hygroscopic and unstable to UV radiation, it is necessary to protect the installation joint with hydro- and vapor barrier materials according to the GSTU scheme – the so-called “warm installation of windows”.
- Final works. Install the handles and check the functionality of the valves. We draw up an acceptance certificate for the delivery of work.
This technology for installing window structures significantly increases the shelf life of polyurethane foam, promotes increased heat and sound insulation of the window, ensuring the creation of a comfortable microclimate in an apartment, house or office space.
Installation of window structures in an insulated area using a system made of moisture-resistant composite material, which contains high-density foam polystyrene.
This technology offers a modern look at the preparation and installation of window structures, which makes the work much faster, more convenient, and the owner will receive a much warmer window opening.
Removing and installing a window into the insulation level of the façade is an important step towards energy efficiency. Thanks to the blaugelb Triotherm+ system, this is quite possible without high costs, and there are no restrictions on the methods of insulation and sealing of assembly joints when planning construction work.
Advantages:
- strong and stable profiles are characterized by quick and easy installation and are very well integrated into all façade systems; ideal system even with double brickwork;
- the profiles are ideally combined with the location of the fastenings and allow high loads;
- designed specifically for installation of window structures at the level of the thermal insulation zone;
- We check the building base to make sure that it is level vertically and horizontally.
- We remove bulk materials from the construction surface.
- We mark the base depending on the factory placement of the structure and cut the Triotherm profile to the required length.
- We seal all connections.
- We press the Triotherm profile along its entire length to the base.
- Mark the attachment points.
- Apply multifunctional tape to seal the base profile.
- We insert and secure the window structure into the opening frame.
- We check the functionality and draw up an acceptance and transfer certificate.
